There's a big difference between a shower that functions and one that actually looks like it belongs in the bathroom. When tile work is this detailed - classic subway tile, bold black trim, patterned mosaic floors - the last thing you want is a clunky framed enclosure cutting across all of it. That's exactly where frameless glass shines.

We installed these frameless glass shower enclosures to work with the design, not fight it. The glass panels stay out of the way visually, letting the tilework and fixtures do their job. One of our favorite details on a build like this is the transom panel above the door opening. It ties the whole enclosure together and gives it a finished, architectural feel that most people can't quite put their finger on - they just know it looks right.

The hardware matters too. Chrome and matte black finishes paired with frameless glass hit differently than you'd expect. There's no bulk, no visual clutter. Just clean lines from floor to ceiling. That's what makes a bathroom feel bigger and more open without moving a single wall.

A well-fitted frameless enclosure is also a practical win. No metal frame channels means fewer places for water, soap, and mildew to collect. It's easier to clean and holds up better over time. That's a detail homeowners don't think about until they've lived with a framed door for a few years and then make the switch.

This is the kind of work we really enjoy. When the tile is great and the fixtures are dialed in, a properly installed frameless glass enclosure pulls it all together into something that feels complete. That finished look - the one that makes a bathroom feel intentional - is what we're always going for.
