Townhome bathroom remodels come with a specific challenge - the finishes all need to work together, and the shower enclosure is usually the piece that ties everything together or breaks it. Get that wrong, and the whole bathroom feels unfinished. Get it right, and suddenly the space looks intentional and polished.

We've been handling the shower glass installs on a series of these townhome remodels, and the setup here is a good example of what we work with. Each bathroom has a standalone shower paired with a soaking tub. The goal was a clean, frameless look that doesn't compete with the tile work - just lets it breathe.

Frameless enclosures do something that framed ones just can't. Without the bulk of an aluminum frame around every edge, the glass almost disappears. The tile, the fixtures, the natural light - it all reads clearly. These showers have a window inside, and with frameless glass, that light carries through the whole bathroom instead of getting boxed in.

The hardware we used here is brushed nickel - hinges, pull handle, and the small clips that anchor the stationary panel. It's a finish that works with just about any fixture package a builder or homeowner would choose. Clean lines, nothing fussy, built to hold up.

This kind of work isn't just about aesthetics. A properly installed frameless enclosure seals correctly, swings smoothly, and stays that way. The fit has to be right from the start. That's what we focus on every time - an installation that looks great and functions just as well years down the road.
